Angelina's Bakery in Bristol Borough announced the closure on Facebook on Saturday, stating that they "will be closed until further notice."

"The economic impact of COVID-19 we have faced over these last two years, has left Angelina’s to come to this decision," the statement reads. "Please know this decision was not taken lightly, as we have prided ourselves in being a bright spot in our community."

Angela and Sergio Cargitlado opened the bakery's doors in 2018, providing the community with a range of freshly-baked goods, breakfast combinations, and coffee, according to its website.

The post received a flood of comments thanking the 4.8-star Google-rated small business for "making the community better."
